Performance and talks, in the store
Soundium Welcomes started as a simple idea: invite an artist we like to play in the store, on their own gear, for the people who buy the same gear, and then sit down and talk. Roe Deers, the project of Liudas Lazauskas, opened the series with a live hardware set of about 35 minutes, built from drum machines, synths and a sampler with no laptop on the table. The talk that followed covered how the live rig is put together, how a track moves from studio jam to stage version, and what a working routine looks like when the instruments are the whole studio.
